Fair warning. If you read Edge of Collapse, be prepared to read the other six books in the series back-to-back to back to back… You won’t be able to resist going all-in on this series. Plan on losing some sleep, but it’s so worth it.
The story is terrific, with great character development. You’ll find yourself cheering on some characters, and wanting to throat punch some others. We’re talking development along the lines of, “I wonder what Hannah would think about this?” during your daily activities. Good luck trying not to get attached to Ghost the Great Pyrenees.
Suspense, action, mystery, twists, this book (and series) has it all.
After burning through the seven-book Edge of Collapse series, I read everything else Kyla Stone has written. You will too. You’ve been warned.
For most of my life, I was not a series reader. I think the Lord of the Rings was the only series I read before I turned 55. Well, I did read every one of the Hardy Boys books when I was a kid, but they really aren’t the continuation of a story line, and that’s what I consider a “series.”
Anyway, I can’t remember how I came across Kyla Stone’s Edge of Collapse. I honestly think it may have been and ad on my Kindle. The pacing was crisp, the characters and story compelling, and I found myself wanting to read the next book in the series.
If you enjoy post-apocalyptic thrillers, I think you’ll enjoy this book, and the other six in the series.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this (or any other) book in the comments!
